Default Er, for lack of better terms... the Over World

Why not add in a heaven or something? This would be a nice place to hang out after beating the game to sell things, easily infuse armour (say, if you bought 15k armour after beating game), a place to get PVP items for free to use in PVP areas instead of having to make a new character to use them, make a special PVE only competition area here, find out how many quests you have missed so you can go back for them, claim rewards for unblurring map areas and doing all mission bonuses, maybe put in a place to transfer Skill points from PVP characters into your PVE characters or something... Er, just mainly good aspects of the game here.

What do you think?

Its not really manditory, but i agree it would be nice to have a place to hang out after beating the game (outside of Grotto of course)... im not sure why it would be heaven, that would kinda be after you die or something.. but im sure Anet could cook something up, ive heard a few suggestions to have the ability to revisit presearing or something... either way a "special" place after beating the game would be super..

Sure, after like the 12th chapter or whenever they plan on finishing the series, but in my mind we havn't finished the game...giving us a special place would be kinda, weird. Imagine a trilogy, all three books in the same cover. At the end of one book, the story definetly hasn't finished- a cliffhanger, maybe even. So should the heroes, in the last few pages of the first book and the first few pages of the second retire to somewhere that dosnt fit in with the story at all?
I'm not sure I explained it very well, but Kryta should be pretty enough for you :P (With the trade channels off, that is)

You'd better turn off "All", since that's also a trade channel for idiots...

But I agree, there should not be a new place for people to go, because there is much more for us to uncover. We have not even reached the free update, let alone any expansions, and adding something like this would just delay our next update.

Hmmm... Maybe having the Hall of Heroes as a place you can Map to once you've beaten it. Of course you'd have to go to the tombs if you wanted to play through it to get the favor. This place would only be available to PVErs and not PVPers. It would just stay the same for PVPers. That way we can actually get something out of it.

ARGHH
the idea sounded nice, till Weezer effectively torpedoed it. The prospect of this is so horrendous i can't support this anymore in good conscience.

Ban the word 'godly'..... please.

hm.....what about floating citidels....hanging gardens.....Upper Plains of Reality....Outer Plains...Inner Plains....Under sea Plains...

*gee, i got a lot of Planes here......*

maybe a floating citedel for each of the Gods and Goddesses, in thier style...so the warrior one would be soldiur like, with walls and squares and shining guards marching about in shiny breastplates and huge rippling mucsles...
Monk, all red tile rooves and sand gardens, with wandering wise men poping out smart things when you click on them...
Necro one, hm....kinda dark, but with a few stained glass windows and lots of candles, like an onld abandoned cathedral feel.
Elementalist, got to have all 4 elements represented here, so a fire section, iceand watery bit, stone and earhty bit and wind sorta place, with elemental guards.
mesmer....a wavey illusion place with ghostly see thru parts and areas that shift from one look to the next, though it might be hard on yer vid card.
ranger....gotta be a tree house ^^ huge giant floating tree, like something outa tolkien or Tenchi Muyo ^^

then after they have done al the stuff with most of the game world of tyria (sp?) they can use these places to move on from...
i mean, i remember seeing one of the scribe type at the temple of ages saying somehitng about this world being the First the Gods made, but there being more, and somehitng about an Exodus....

and any daft nerk that uses WTB/WTS/WTT or LFG ect is cast back down into the face of the world with a huge boot firmly planted on their behinds ^^

Why'd you need floating Citadels? Already got the domains (well, two). Balthazaar's Fissure of Woe and Grenth's Underworld. Just gotta wait for them to do something about Dwayna's, Melandru's and Lyssa's domains (hopefully with a some new gold-sink-armours like Fissure, but more...holy...looking, especially in dwayna's realm)..

Would be nice if you could go to a special town or place after completing UW or FoW...

ty, Kaldor, you just answered something that had been bugging me...
(namely, the difference between the fissure and the UW lol)

also...i see 5 out of 6 deitys for classes....where, who and what is the god of the Elementalists?

and yeah the citidels i was meaning were like float in the sky, held by magic kinda towns....someplace you could go to, with little bonuses that have little meaning other than a nice place and some nice clothes or booze or somehting. someplace to go to after doing lots of stuff and when sick of missions....maybe retire temporarily, till the next chapter comes out and you need to bring your character out of retirement to do whatever they have set for ye in the newest chapter...then retire em back there after THAT chapter is done....

maybe a floating Retirement Home might be a better description ^^

there is this place called UW and FoW to go to, but not exactly a hangout spot. i think you should be able to go to the HoH once youve beaten the game, and watch the matches there. it would be fun and look cool. and i always want a place in the snow like a heroes mountain. it would be cool if it was nice and pretty like in the presearing mountains, not the dark mean snowyness of the shiverppeaks

Melandru is the god of rangers and earth elementalists, not water as well. Grenth has the water ele's.

How About Hanging out in the Hall of Heros? I mean u can still capture it in tournament but there be a different part to hang out in. Technicly we all are ascended so doesnt that mean we get to get into the Hall or did i get some part of the story wrong?

Actually Myth, ascension doesn't do much at all for you, so that'd be a nice thing to have it actually incorporate it into it.
